He earned his medical degree from University of Kashmir India, did his internship at East Tennessee State University, and then did his residency training in Anesthesiology at Texas Tech University, a world renowned pain center, under the guidance of Dr. Gabor Racz, a well known pain expert. Dr. Dar has been in private practice since 1994 in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, he serves as medical director of Theda Oaks Surgery Center. He specializes in advanced techniques to treat all types of chronic and cancer pain with the latest, high tech pain control procedures. Dr. Dar was recently voted one of the top 100 physicians in San Antonio. In his spare time he likes to partake in personal fitness training and golf.
